You’ll need to submit a lost and damaged plate report to obtain a duplicate registration number. To complete the form correctly, make sure that you have these documents in hand:
- A copy of your Iqamah.
- A copy of the vehicle registration(Istimara).
- A copy of your driving license.
- A proof of your residential Saudi National address.
- The Saudi police report for the lost number plate. (In the next paragraph, we have explained how to obtain this police report)

- Bring your original damaged number plate in case of wanting a replacement of the damaged number plate.

To report a lost or stolen car number plate in Saudi Arabia, follow these steps on Absher:
- Go to the Absher website: https://www.absher.sa/
- Click on “E-Services.”
- Then click on “Vehicles Services.”
- Next, click on “Vehicle Management.”
- Find the car that belongs to you.
- Click on “Reporting Vehicle Plates Stealing or Loss.”
A new page will open, and you need to do the following:
- Click on “New Request.”
- Choose either “Lost” or “Stolen.”
- Fill in all the needed details.
- Submit the form.

Paying the Fee to Replace Your Car’s Number Plate
To pay the fee for replacing the car number plate in Saudi Arabia, you can use Sabb Bank, but you’ll pay with your personal account. The procedure is almost the same.
- You can pay the fee with Sabb Bank. You can use the bank’s mobile app or go to the bank’s website.
- Sign in to your online banking account.
- Find the “SAAD Payments” button at the bottom of the screen and click on it.
- Then click on the “Government Payments & Refunds” button.
- Choose “Re-Issue License Plate.” If you need one plate, pick “one.” If you need a pair, pick the “pair” option.

How much is the price for two number plates. An agent charged me 300sr. Is that true. Also can we replace only one number. I had mvpi and only one one my number plates has been faded but the agent has told me you have request for both. We cannot request for one. Please enlighten, thanks!

I have paid sr 100 through banking app. Now when I apply for replacement of my one plate on absher, it asks me to pay sr 143 more for service and delivery charges. I don’t want delivery services as the muroor office is very near to me and I can collect myself. How can I move forward without paying additional sr 143?
